Project Name: UT Austin – UT Administration Building Renovations
Project Location: Austin, Texas
Submit Proposal pricing by: 6/10/08 @ 2:00 PM
Project Description:
Flintco is the CM @ Risk on this project. The project includes the renovation on an existing 8
floor, 253,000 SF building @ 1616 Guadalupe Street. The finish out of floors 6 & 7 scope for
this Bid Package #4 will include the following packages : Final Cleaning, Masonry, Misc. Metals,
Millwork/Running Trim/Casework, Doors/Frames/Hardware, Glazing, Drywall / ACT systems,
Carpet/VCT, Ceramic Tile, Painting, Demountable partitions, Specialties, Signage,
Mechanical/Plumbing and Electrical / Fire Alarm / Telecomm / Security.
Project Schedule:
The schedule for BP #4 includes an anticipated Start of July 2008 and Completion of Nov. 2008.
Pre-Bid, Site Visit:
There will be a pre-proposal meeting on 5/29/08 @ 2:00 PM, at 1616 Guadalupe St, Austin, TX
in the 1st Floor. Pay parking is available in the parking garage on the west side of the Building.
Attendance is STRONGLY ENCOURGAGED for all companies interested in proposing on the
project. This will be the only time for a guided tour of the building and to visit the site and become familiar with the existing job conditions, site access and to discuss project expectations with the
CM and the design team.
Plans Availability:
Planrooms: iSqFt, ABC, AGC, Dodge, Builder’s Exchange, City of Austin Department of Small
Minority, and Austin Black Contractor’s Association.
Plans will also be available on 5/20/08 at Flintco’s Austin, Texas office. Please contact Justin
Weaver or Mike Hutter for availability prior to picking up.
Documents will be available in either electronic version (CD), hard copy (paper) plans.
