Clinical Trials

horizontal rule

The Intellectual Property Section of the Office of General Counsel provides a variety of materials for negotiating, preparing and processing Clinical Trial Agreements. For example, we have sample paragraphs and online checklists to facilitate revising and negotiating publication, confidentiality, intellectual property and indemnifications sections of a clinical trial agreement. We also have sample universal and master clinical trial agreements and forms for transmitting those agreements for processing to The U. T. System. For example:

Standard Clinical Trial Agreement (non-governmental)

U. T. System Clinical Trial Transmittal Form Q (Standarized clauses conforming to U. T. System checklist requirements and with a foreign entity and/or over $1,000,000)

Universal and Master Agreements (some of which are for clinical trial agreements)

The main link for Checklists for Clinical Trial Agreements (the purpose of the checklist is to help you analyze Sponsor-offered clauses in order to determine what editing they require to bring them into conformance with the Regents' Rules regarding intellectual property)
