Update on RFQ for Master Planning Services for the Brackenridge Tract
Members of the Cooper, Robertson, & Partners, L. L. P., master planning team were in Austin the week of May 5 to begin the process of visiting with interested parties and gathering data, two important preliminary steps in the master planning process. Team members toured the various parcels within the 345-acre Brackenridge Tract and met with U. T. System, U. T. Austin, and City of Austin officials, former members of the Brackenridge Tract Task Force, and representatives of tenants, community groups, and other interested parties.
This first week of meetings is only the beginning of the approximately 12-month master planning process, during which time there will be additional opportunities for input by interested parties. A public involvement plan and a schedule of listening and discussion workshops will be announced in the next few weeks. The master planning firm will also be creating a web site for the project. Information about the web site and a link to it will be provided as soon as possible.
