TWO LOCATIONS: The museum has two locations on the UT campus:
- Harry Ransom Center, 21st and Guadalupe - The Blanton Museum of Art presents selections drawn from its permanent collections of twentieth-century American art, Western American art, contemporary Latin American art, European painting and sculpture and antiquities in its gallery space on the first and second floors of the Harry Ransom Center building. The nearest parking is in the Dobie garage near the corner of 21st and Whitis.
- Art Building, 23rd and San Jacinto - The Blanton's permanent collections of prints and drawings and changing temporary exhibitions are located in its gallery space in the Art Building. The nearest parking for this location is the garage at 24th Street and San Jacinto next door to the Texas Memorial Museum.
The museum is open 9 am - 5 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 am - 9 pm Thursday, and 1 pm - 5 pm Saturday and Sunday. Admission to all exhibitions is free. All galleries have barrier free access.

Winedale Historical Center in Round Top
Restored 19th-Century farmstead with plantation homes, log cabins, fireplace kitchen, smokehouse, and barns. Center for study of ethnic cultures of Central Texas operated by UT Austin.

Sam Rayburn Library in Bonham
Elegant structure of white Georgia marble library contains exact duplicate of Speaker Rayburn's U.S. Capitol office, from pattern on the tile floor to barrel-vaulted ceiling. Over desk is crystal chandelier, more than a century old, which hung in both White House and Capitol. Other mementos include many gavels used on historic occasions, and 2,500-year-old Grecian urn given by Athens Palace Guard in appreciation for American economic aid.

John Nance Garner House and Museum in Uvalde
The John Nance Garner House and Museum is one of the four divisions of the UT Austin Center for American History. The Garner Museum documents the remarkable life and career of Texas native son John Nance "Cactus Jack" Garner (1868-1967), the most powerful Vice President in U.S. history and the second most powerful politician in the U.S. during the Great Depression of the 1930s. The house and museum exhibits photographs, original letters, political cartoons, art, furniture, and personal memorabilia relating to important events in the life and times of Mr. Garner.
