When should I start applying to Medical, Dental or Veterinary school?

The application is available beginning May 1. You must apply one year before you expect to matriculate. For example, if you would like to begin medical school in August of 2009, you need to apply between May and October of 2008. The deadline for applying for the entering class of 2009 is October 1, 2008. Early filing is strongly encouraged.

When should I submit my application?

Application deadlines can be found by going to the Deadlines and Important Dates link. It is best to have your application submitted and all supporting documents sent to TMDSAS by mid-July. The deadline to submit your applicaiton is October 1. Mail in your signed Certification Page, application fee and photos together after you have submitted your online application.
