Important Announcements
- 07.21.2010: Remember to fill out the [Colleges Attended] and [Letters of Evaluation] sections as soon as possible. TMDSAS cannot mark letters or transcripts as received until you complete these two sections and create the placeholders for the documents. Any items received prior to these sections being completed will go in our miscellaneous file which is updated on a weekly basis.
- 06.28.2010: Processing of applications currently takes 4-6 weeks from the date your application fee is received. Processing time will increase towards the application deadline due to increased volume.
- 06.01.2010: Given the number of applications TMDSAS receives, we regret that we cannot verify receipt of materials or application status by telephone or e-mail. Such inquiries, given the anxiety-producing nature of admissions, are natural, yet significantly slow down the application process while only helping a few people. We ask that you understand our decision allows us to spend more time reviewing each file and processing documents, and is not intended to create an impersonal impression.
Please continue to check your status via the application [Status] page. It can take our small office up 15 business days from the time they are mailed to process documents.
You do not need to be concerned about whether a document shows as “Pending”. If a receive date is next to the document then it has been received and is being processed.
- 05.27.2010: If you have released your test scores to TMDSAS but your score is not showing as matched, please return to the MCAT or DAT page (or both) and check whether you have entered a valid SSN. If you have not entered an SSN, or have entered an invalid SSN, please enter your SSN now. Our match process runs nightly, and once we have a valid SSN for you, we should be able to match your score, so check back the next day.
If you have already submitted your application, you MUST fax a copy of your SSN card to TMDSAS to make the change. Please fax the copy to 512-499-4786 - be sure to include your full name and TMDSAS ID on the fax.
- 05.02.2010: The TMDSAS application supports ONLY the Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers. IE is available on Windows computers. Firefox is available as a free download for both Windows and Apple (Intel and non-Intel) computers from: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
