Annual Enrollment (AE) for plan year beginning September 1, 2012 is July 15 - July 31.

ANNUAL ENROLLMENT CHECKLIST

Review:

Make Elections: July 15–July 31, 2012

  • Declare tobacco user or non-user status
  • Add/drop coverage
  • Add/remove dependents
  • UT FLEX (must enroll annually)
  • UTRetirement Program

Follow Up: by August 15, 2012

  • Review online summary immediately after making your election
  • Review confirmation statement
  • Upload dependent documents if required
  • Submit Evidence of Insurability if required

Important Reminders

  • Expect ID cards for new plans elected by September 1, 2012.
  • Keep your ID cards for plans you did not change.
  • Keep your UT FLEX debit card if you are continuing enrollment and the card has not expired.
  • If you take no action, your current coverage (except UT FLEX accounts) will continue for the new plan year.
  • This is also a great time to take advantage of the savings opportunities provided in the UTRetirement Program by electing or increasing your voluntary retirement savings.
  • Visit the Living Well Health & Wellness Program for free resources, tools and services for you and your eligible dependents.
