As mentioned in last month’s newsletter, the 82nd Session of the Texas Legislature began in January and is now well under way. Over 5,000 bills have been filed and are moving through the legislative process. 

At this early stage, very little is known about which bills may progress and eventually become law and which will not. Because of this, it is still too early to predict exactly how the UT Benefits program may be affected. Read more about what to expect within the next few months.
