People walking. Photo credit: newsusacontent via CompfightWe're excited to be nearing the end of the Living Well, Moving Well Physical Activity Challenge! The 2014 Challenge wraps up on Thursday, June 12th. Don't forget to log your activity!

Log Your Steps by June 12 - before it's too late!

We hope you've been taking steps toward your health goals these past few weeks. Be sure to log all of your activity to help your institution win the coveted Traveling Trophy!

Here's What You Need to Know:

When DO I Log?
The Challenge ends on Thursday, June 12. You must log all of your activity by June 12 in order for it to count towards your institution's total and the chance to win the Physical Activity Challenge "Traveling Trophy."

What Do I Log?
All kinds of activities can be logged, from time at the gym to chores around the house. If you log activities other than just "steps," the platform will automatically convert whatever type of exercise you log to the corresponding number of steps.

How Do I Log?
Visit the Living Well Health Platform's* "Steps Log" or "Cardio Log" (under the "Exercise" heading) to log your activity. To log steps from your pedometer, simply enter the number of steps into the "Steps Log" and click "Add Steps." To log other types of activity, including walking or running done without a pedometer, choose the appropriate exercise type from the pulldown menu in the "Cardio Log," enter the number of minutes you spent doing that exercise, and if you know it, enter your heart rate. Click "Add Exercise" to finish.

What Else do I need to DO?
Remember, you must complete the Health Assessment (under the "Health" heading on the Living Well Health Platform) to have your steps count for your institution. So if you haven't taken it since September 1, 2013, be sure to take the Health Assessment before the challenge ends. Don't forget you must complete the authorization, too, so that your institution can verify that you've registered and completed your Health Assessment.

who wins?
The winning institution will be the one with the greatest rate of registration and completion and will have the honor of hosting the Physical Activity Challenge "Traveling Trophy" for the year.

Members with the most activity logged will receive individual recognition and personal success stories will be highlighted.
