Purpose:

 

To reconfirm the 1966 and June 1, 1979 policy concerning inscriptions on plaques for all permanent buildings and establish the format for inscriptions

Background:

 

The Board authorized the Chancellor to approve inscriptions on plaques for permanent buildings within The University of Texas System which are in conformity with the content and format approved by the Board in June 1979:
