PRINTICE L. GARY, Dallas, Texas,was appointed to a six-year term on The University of Texas System Board of Regents by Governor Rick Perry in November 2007. Regent Gary serves on the Academic Affairs Committee; the Facilities Planning and Construction Committee; and the Student, Faculty, and Staff Campus Life Committee. In addition, he is a Regental representative on the Board for Lease of University Lands.
Mr. Gary founded Carleton Residential Properties in 1991 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner. Previously, he was a division partner at Trammell Crow Residential. He is active in civic organizations, having served on the Boards of the Dallas Citizens Council, the North Texas Tollway Authority, Pro-line Corporation, CC Young (a multiple service retirement organization in Texas), and the Texas Tax Reform Commission.
He currently serves on the Board of the Southwestern Medical Foundation and the National Equity Fund in Chicago, Illinois. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Carleton College, where he served as a trustee from 2003 until earlier this year. He also holds a Master's of Business degree from Harvard University.
