Gayle Knight, CPA, is the Assistant Vice President for Compliance and Consultation at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She serves as the Institutional Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer for the institution. In this capacity, she oversees the monitoring processes for key operational and compliance processes within the institution. She also has oversight for the medical billing compliance program.

Ms. Knight has been with the institution for 17 years. She previously served as the Director of Internal Audit at the institution for 10 years. She has conducted peer reviews for several of the University of Texas System compliance programs. Ms. Knight currently serves as the Chair of the University of Texas System Institutional Compliance Advisory Council.

Ms. Knight was previously a manager with the public accounting firm of Ernst & Whinney in San Antonio.
