W. John Truslow, III is a Senior Consultant and Research Analyst for the Ethics Resource Center (ERC) in Washington, D.C. Mr. Truslow originally joined the ERC in 2000, before spending four years as the Assistant Director of the Center for the Study of Professional Military Ethics at the U.S. Naval Academy. In that capacity, Mr. Truslow worked with students, faculty and staff to develop institutional infrastructure necessary to facilitate the character development of Midshipmen. He also served as an Academy faculty member.

Mr. Truslow returned to the ERC in 2005 as a Senior Consultant and Research Analyst, working on a variety of research and advisory services projects on organizational ethics.

Mr. Truslow has a master's degree in philosophy - focused on ethics pedagogy - from the Center for Practical Ethics at the University of Montana, Missoula.
