Steve Jung recently retired after 20 years of service to Stanford University. During that time, he served as Director of Internal Audit for the University and the Stanford hospitals, and as the University’s first institutional compliance officer. Upon retirement, he was honored by Stanford’s President and Board of Trustees with the title Executive Director of Internal Audit and Institutional Compliance Emeritus. Steve is currently serving as Program Chair for the 2008 international conference of the Institute of Internal Auditors, to be held at Moscone Center in San Francisco in July 2008, and as a Special Advisor to Stanford’s Vice President and Dean of Research.
