Mr. Robinson is the former Vice President for the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Learning Center, where he was responsible for The IIA’s professional development seminars (over 200 programs annually), 13 conferences and educational products as well as business development. Ed has been President of Advanced Marketing Concepts since 1989, a company specializing in business and professional development with a wide variety of clients, including major auditing, stock brokers, financial service, credit unions, accounting and other professional service organizations. His products include keynotes, seminars, workshops and consulting engagements covering client development (sales), leadership, management and technical topics.
As a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), a designation bestowed on less than 10% of the International Federation of Professional Speakers Ed is recognized internationally for his expertise in sales and client development, customer service, and communication skills. Ed understands that the true secrets of the success of his programs are customization and practicality, coupled with his ability to partner with clients to help them achieve better than expected results.
Ed completed his undergraduate degree in Business and Accounting at Walsh University and Certified as a CPA in Texas. Ed claims to be a recovering CPA with a contagious personality. He did his graduate work in Business and Organization Development at the University of Texas-San Antonio. |
