Sandy Vasquez holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). She is the Director for Institutional Compliance at UTEP and has thirteen years experience combined in Internal Audit and Institutional Compliance. Her responsibilities include managing the Institutional Compliance Committee, investigating Compliance Hotline calls, monitoring high risk compliance items and providing compliance training to university employees. She is a member and past President of the El Paso Chapter for the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and the American Society of Women Accountants. She has chaired the UTEP President's Advisory Committee for Women, and serves as a board member on the YWCA Finance Committee.
