Cost

• $499 registration fee
• $449 early bird registration fee (by 4/25/2007)
• $399 multiple-attendee registration fee

The early bird registration fee is $449, if received no later than April 25, 2007. The standard registration fee after that date is $499. A discount is available for multiple attendees from the same institution. To qualify for the discount, 3 or more people from the same institution must register for the conference. The registration fee for those who qualify is $399 per registrant. Please contact Becki Mendivil at (512) 499-4285 for more information regarding this special rate.

 

Registration fees include the cost of instruction and conference materials, a cocktail reception on Sunday evening, breakfast on Monday and Tuesday morning, lunch on Monday and Tuesday afternoon, and all refreshments at session breaks.

 

The registration fee for the Post Conference Workshop is $25, which includes breakfast.

 

 

Refunds

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the UT System-wide Compliance Program. You may email cancellations to complianceconference@utsystem.edu or fax to (512) 499-4426. Registration fees for cancellations received prior to April 25, 2007 will be refunded in full. Registrants canceling after April 25, 2007 (and conference no-shows) may be liable for the full amount. Refunds will be processed after the conference. Substitutions are permitted. Please call or email Becki Mendivil with the UT System-wide Compliance Program at (512) 499-4285 or fax your request for substitution to (512) 499-4426.

 

 

Continuing Education

We are pleased to sponsor continuing education for the higher education community. Conference participants who wish to apply for CPE credit with professional organizations may obtain a certificate or letter of completion following the conference. The maximum number of CPEs you can apply for is based on: (1) one CPE for each 50-minutes of scheduled programming, and (2) a participant attending all scheduled programming. Additional information will be included with the registration materials distributed at the conference.

 

 

Accommodations

The Hilton Austin has established special conference rates starting at $152 (plus tax) single/double occupancy, per night. Be sure to mention the UT System Effective Compliance Systems Conference.

 

Reservations must be made by May 3, 2007 and this special rate is based on availability.

 

State of Texas employees must contact the hotel directly at 1-800-HILTONS and ask for the state per diem rate.
