From North Texas (Metroplex)
Take IH 35 south to downtown Austin. (Note: IH 35 splits into an upper and lower deck approximately three miles north of downtown Austin. The upper deck is recommended.)
Exit IH 35 at the "8th-3rd Street Exit." Immediately turn right (west) on 8th Street, follow 8th Street for 7 blocks and turn left on Colorado Street. Keep in the right lane of Colorado Street, go 1-1/2 blocks, and stop at the guard kiosk on the right.
From South Texas (San Antonio)
Take IH 35 north to downtown Austin. Exit IH 35 at 6th Street. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left (west) on 6th Street. Follow 6th Street for 9 blocks and turn right on Lavaca Street. Go one block and turn right on 7th Street. Go one block and turn right on Colorado Street. Go 1/2 block and stop at the guard kiosk on the right.
From Houston
Take I-10 west, then take TX-71 west toward La Grange/Austin. Continue on TX-71 for approx. 80 miles until you pass Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Merge onto U.S. 183 north (right). Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp and take the East 7th Street Exit (left). Follow E 7th Street until it dead-ends at IH-35, and stay in the LEFT lane. Turn right on the IH-35 frontage road and then immediately left onto E 8th street.
Follow E 8th Street for 7 blocks and turn left on Colorado Street. Keep in the right lane of Colorado Street, go 1-1/2 blocks, and stop at the guard kiosk on the right. See parking map for detail of the System complex.

The Dillo System, the Metro System, including the park and ride programs are available and encouraged. We have learned through students that the Dillo is convenient for UT Austin students that work at the System Complex.
