Adding a New Subscriber to SGELIG
With the Add a Subscriber function you have 2 options:

  1. Add Subscriber with AUTO coverage
  2. AUTO coverage is the basic SUBscriber only coverage available to all UT System employees. It includes SUB only Medical coverage in the current UT Select plan, SUB only $10K Personal Accident Insurance (AD&D), SUB only$10K Life Insurance, and optional FLEX Healthcare or Dependent Daycare options.
Input appropriate information into each section of the Add Subscriber with Auto Coverage page and click on the Add Subscriber button. The AD&D and Life coverages will be automatically stored for the employee. Once the database record has been added, click on the View Record button to see the subscriber's SGELIG record.
  3. Add Subscriber with SELECT coverages
  4. With SELECT coverages, you have the ability to enter coverage information requested by the employee including family levels, as well as optional PAI, Life and Long-Term Disability insurance.
The *SGELIG mainframe help page for the '111' screens defines required fields and field definitions that may be useful. Click here to go back to that page.
