Listing Records
The SGELIG List Records function offers the ability to look up individual Subscribers, Subscribers and their
Dependents and alphabetic lists of Subscribers. A list of a subscriber and/or dependent's records can be viewed
for each coverage type by clicking on one of the coverage type buttons.
Also, there is a List by Date and Coverage type function
that provides a 'snapshot' of specific coverage type information (e.g. MEDICAL or DENTAL) about a
specific subscriber on a specific date. This function can highlight possible eligibility errors such
as dual coverage (subscriber has an eligibility record as an ACTIVE employee and a RETIREE, for
example).
View/Change One Record
With the View/Change function, you can see a detailed record of one Insured (subscriber or
dependent). The web page displays all relevant Biographical, Demographic, Employment, and Coverage
data, including effective and termination dates, coverage amounts (for AD&D and Life Insurance). If
authorized, you can also make updates to a subscriber or dependent's records and add new subscribers
to SGELIG online.
Reviewing Communication Log Entries
SGELIG offers the ability to create and view communication logs, also known as ACCESS LOGS.
Currently, only a list of the communication log entries is displayed. The ability to view details of
the log entries and to create new log entries will be added prior to Annual Enrollment 2004.
