SGELIG Training

SGELIG is the mainframe and internet eligibility information access application designed by Employee Group Insurance (EGI). It's capabilities include viewing, adding and updating eligibility information on file at Employee Group Insurance. Eligibility information is provided to EGI by the individual components of the University of Texas entity.

The objectives of the SGELIG Training documentation include ways to help you use SGELIG to improve the eligibility process and to help EGI find ways to enhance and improve SGELIG to better fit everyone’s needs. The specific objectives are as follows:

• To improve understanding of how the EGI Eligibility system (SGELIG) and your component’s eligibility system interact
• To provide assistance in interpreting eligibility information using SGELIG
• To offer instruction for using SGELIG to maintain eligibility information
• To demostrate how to fix eligibility problems through SGELIG
• To provide resources to assist in day to day use of SGELIG
• To gather input from you to improve SGELIG and SGELIG training sessions
