On Thursday, December 21 st, Operations and Support Services started a project to replace the chillers that provide air circulation to ASH, CTJ and OHH. These chillers need to be replaced in order to provide proper air conditioning to those buildings.
During Phase 1 of this project, between 12/21/06 and 01/01/07, a temporary chiller was installed in the alley between ASH and CTJ, and the existing chillers will be shut down.
Phase 2 of the project, which is scheduled for January 2007, will involve removal of the old units and installation of the new units. Units being replaced are located on the upper level of the ASH 2 parking garage.
