Application Information

Before you start, you must be eligible to receive a Pell Grant. This documentation
is required to show proof that you are economically disadvantaged. You must also
be a Texas resident to qualify for JAMP.

  1. You must complete the "Notice of Intent to apply to the Joint Admission Medical Program and Authorization to Release Records Form" (one form) and take it to your JAMP Faculty Director
    before you start the online application.

Failure to do so will delay or prevent your application from being reviewed.
If you do not know the name of your JAMP Faculty Director,
click on the "Participating Schools" link above for complete details.

  1. Read the General Instructions for the web application before starting the application.
    (VERY IMPORTANT).
    You should print the General Instructions to use as a reference when filling out the application.
    This is beneficial in reducing the possibility of errors.

Application Instructions

  1. The web application will be available March 1, 2008.
    Application and supporting document deadline is
    October 1, 2008.

    You must complete all sections and submit the application to be eligible to start the application process.
    When you have completed each section of the application a Submit Button will appear on the Application Status page.

    Do Not select the submit button until you have entered your grades for the fall and spring semester (see General Instructions).
    Select the "JAMP Application" link below to start your application.
    You must request a Personal ID Number and choose a Password.

    YOU MUST SAVE your PIN and Password in order to return to your application.
