UT San Antonio, CPS Energy Announce $50 Million Agreement for Green Energy Research
San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro joined UT San Antonio and CPS Energy to announce a 10 year, $50 million agreement to position San Antonio as a national leader in green technology research. UT Austin Scientists Produce 3-D Models of BP Oil Spill in Gulf of Mexico Using Ranger Supercomputer

UT MD Anderson Cancer Center and Texas A&M University System Announce Landmark Research Partnership
The University of Texas System and The Texas A&M University System recently announced a major cancer research collaboration. The new initiative will combine the resources of the A&M System's National Center for Therapeutic Manufacturing and UT MD Anderson Cancer Center to develop new cancer-fighting drugs and accelerate the process of getting new cancer treatments to patients. President Obama to Appoint UTEP Faculty Member to International Advisory Committee
