Regents to Meet in San Antonio on August 6-7

The Board of Regents of the University of Texas System will meet in San Antonio on Wednesday, August 6, and Thursday, August 7.

Times and locations are as follows:

Wednesday, August 6 - 9:30 a.m. to approximately 5:30 p.m. in the San Antonio Ballroom of the Westin La Cantera Resort Hotel. The hotel is on La Cantera Parkway near the intersection of Interstate 10 and Loop 1604 West.

Thursday, August 7 - 8:30 a.m. to approximately 1:30 p.m. in Room 1.463 of the Nursing School at the U.T. Health Science Center at San Antonio. The building is located at 7703 Floyd Curl Drive.

Additional directions for Thursday: Enter the Health Science Center campus at the Main Entrance on Floyd Curl Drive near Medical Drive, and ask at the gate for directions and parking.

• Review and approval of operating budgets for fiscal year 2004.
• Review and approval of the System-wide Capital Improvement Program for 2004 - 2009.
• Approval of new degree programs at the U.T. Medical Branch at Galveston, the U.T. Health Science Center at San Antonio, U.T. Brownsville, U.T. El Paso, and U. T. Pan American.
• Meeting of the Student, Faculty, and Staff Campus Life Committee.
