UT System News Media Advisory

The Board of Regents of the University of Texas System will hold a special called meeting via telephone conference call at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, December 19. Reporters wishing to listen to the meeting may do so in person on the 9th floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th Street in Austin.

Parking for the news media will be available at the guard kiosk on Colorado Street between 7th and 6th Streets.

The Agenda Book for the meeting is available online.

Agenda items include:

• The authorization to negotiate and enter into an economic development agreement with the State of Texas for expansion of the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science at U.T. Dallas.
• The design development for additional campus housing at U.T. Dallas.
• The appointment of a regental representative to the Texas Growth Fund.
• The approval of proposed appointment of members to the audit and ethics committee of The University of Texas Investment Management Company and other related items.
