The Board of Regents of the University of Texas System will hold a special meeting in Austin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2004.

The agenda includes presentation of the Accountability and Performance Report for 2003-2004 -- the first annual report under the UT System's new accountability initiative.

The regents also will receive a report from the Capitol Planning Task Force, which has analyzed construction and renovation needs in light of the state's goals for increasing higher education enrollment through the year 2030.

The meeting will be on the 9th floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 West 7th Street, Austin.

Parking for the news media will be available at the guard kiosk on the alley on Colorado Street between 7th Street and 6th Street.
