Inspired by Sarbanes-Oxley Act, UT System Will Hire Outside Auditor February 4, 2004 BROWNSVILLE – The University of Texas System plans to hire an outside firm to conduct a complete System-wide audit of financial statements. Regents approve $32 million for construction projects February 4, 2004 BROWNSVILLE – Funding and design approval for a new student housing at the UT Health Science Center at Houston was among $32 million in construction projects authorized by the Board of Regents of the University of Texas System on Wednesday. The student housing project in Houston is a $22.5 million, 315-unit apartment complex. The completion date is August 2005. Full Release on New Construction
Four new graduate programs approved by Board of Regents February 4, 2004 BROWNSVILLE – Four new graduate programs at academic institutions in the University of Texas System were approved by the Board of Regents on Wednesday.
