AUSTIN - University of Texas System health institutions and affiliated hospitals have been ranked among America's top hospitals in an annual survey released today (July 13) by U.S. News & World Report.
UT M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston was ranked the top cancer hospital in the country and UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas received recognition in neurology and neurosurgery. Additionally, two UT affiliated hospitals were recognized. The Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston was ranked the number seven hospital for its treatment of heart disease and heart surgery and Memorial Hermann TIRR in Houston was ranked number four in rehabilitation.
