AUSTIN – The University of Texas System responded to the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance inquiry concerning endowments and information about tuition and financial aid.  The detailed response – submitted to the committee staff today (Apr. 11) – is available on the UT System Web site.

 In January, Sens. Charles Grassley and Max Baucus distributed the questionnaire to the top 100 university and college endowments in the country.  Since that time, UT System officials have been working with committee staff to adequately and appropriately respond to the questionnaire on behalf of the System institutions.
