The UT System is currently seeking applicants for the UT System Student Regent position for a one-year term starting June 1, 2009 through May 31, 2010.
In 2005 the Texas Legislature authorized the governor to appoint a nonvoting student regent for each university or university system. More information may be found in this Memo to Campus Presidents from Dr. David B. Prior, Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
To apply please fill out the UT System Student Regent Application and the Office of the Governor Appointment Application and submit to your institution's student government organization.
