William H. ShuteThe vice chancellor for federal relations represents the UT System at the federal level and administers the System offices in Washington, D.C. The Office of Federal Relations tracks federal legislation and regulatory issues affecting higher education, coordinates System initiatives in Washington, D.C., with the broader higher education community; analyzes the impact of federal legislation and laws on the System; and interacts with federal government officials at all levels regarding the mission, needs, and activities of the UT System.
