Scott Patterson
Associate General Counsel - Legal Expert
Scott Patterson is an Associate General Counsel - Legal Expert in the Business Law Section of the Office of General Counsel, where he specializes in contracting and procurement matters.
Mr. Patterson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in 1988. In 1994, Mr. Patterson received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. In 1997, Mr. Patterson received a JD degree from the University of Houston Law Center.
Mr. Patterson was admitted into the State Bar of Texas in 1997. In 2000, Mr. Patterson was admitted to the United States District Court, Southern District of Texas.
Prior to joining the Office of the General Counsel, Mr. Patterson was employed as a Systems Analyst and Information Resource Manager for NASA/Johnson Space Center and as an attorney for the City of Houston Legal Department specializing in business and contract law.
