The Office of General Counsel provides specialized legal services to UT System Administration and the 15 UT System institutions in many areas including procurement, service contracts, real estate contracts, construction contracts, software licenses, material transfer agreements as well as other intellectual property contracts. These legal services include review and negotiation of contracts; development of standard contracts and contract templates; and advice and counsel regarding procurement matters, new and innovative methods of construction project delivery, contract disputes and other contract matters.
