| Job Purpose | To provide technical assistance to professional architects and engineers in the Office of Facilities Planning and Construction as well as to other UT System departments and component institutions. |
| Education and experience required including training, registration, and licensure. | High school diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 5 years drafting experience on large institutional projects or Associates degree in Drafting Technology or related field with a minimum of 3 years drafting experience on large institutional projects. |

Provide assistance to architects, engineers and management by producing drawings, maps, site plans, prints, exhibits, and letters of correspondence. |

Research and review data by scanning disks for viruses; plott and print files on disks to determine contract requirement adherence. |

Create and manage catalogued archives for drawings produced and received; review drawings and specifications, antiquities data and feasibility studies. |

Conduct in-depth reviews as requested by architectural and engineering drawings and specifications submitted to OFPC at various stages of design. |
5. |
Prepare inscription drawings for building plaques and review submittals for accuracy and adherence to the specifications. |
6. |
Prepare presentation graphics for producing slides, overhead transparencies, computerized shows, and handouts. |
