Job Purpose To provide general support services to U. T. System Administration such as building maintenance and repair, mail, supplies, and messenger services.
Education and experience required including training, registration, and licensure. High school diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience within a building services environment, including some mail handling experience.  Must have a valid Texas driver's license.

1.

Prepare and monitor work requests for maintenance and repair and report any maintenance problems.

2.

Supervise the mail and supply room by ensuring all mail and supplies are delivered in a timely manner.

3.

Supervise the building attendants by providing clear work instructions and observing performance.

4.

Supervise the ground attendants by providing clear work instructions and observing performance.

5.

Maintain the supply room by conducting periodic inventories and purchasing supplies as needed.

6.

Conduct periodic inspections of the mechanical and storage rooms, and common areas to identify and correct any situations that may pose a safety hazard for occupants of the buildings.

7.

Conduct periodic inspections of all buildings to identify and report repairs or maintenance needed to maintain the appearance of a class office building.
