Job Purpose To assist with planning special events and programs hosted by the Chancellor and other System Administrative Officials, and as directed, assist with the management of the Chancellor's residence of the University of Texas System.
Education and experience required including training, registration, and licensure. High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Supervision provided to others. May have supervisory responsibility.

1.

Assist with the planning and execution of special events and programs including coordinating caterers, rentals, staff and transportation.

2.

Maintain financial records and inventories associated with facilities maintenance and special events, including processing bills, reconciling accounts, reports, posting costs of events, and purchasing and ordering supplies.

3.

Schedule and oversee repairs and maintenance by contacting independent repairmen, interior design specialists, and U.T. planners, only for staff assigned to Bauer House.

4.

Provide guidance and training to other employees as necessary.

5.

Develop, distribute, and analyze correspondence as required.

6.

Responsible for the design, execution, and effectiveness of a system of internal controls which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, financial information is reliable, and applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures are followed.
