SUMMARY
Purpose/Scope: Provide
marketing and communication support through research and the use of a variety of
media.
DUTIES
Essential
Functions:
·
Develop
and edit departmental website content and online newsletters.
·
Lead
production of web banner, television and radio advertisements.
·
Create
print advertisements and other graphic design pieces.
·
Create
HTML email ads for online email advertising campaigns.
·
Interface
with and distribute requests from the media, Board of Regents Office, Office of
the Chancellor, and System public affairs offices.
·
Work
with team to develop advertising campaign themes and slogans.
·
Develop
reports and provide comparative market analysis as needed or requested.
·
Reconcile
marketing budget and track all media purchases, invoices and payments.
·
Assist
with the media buying process by presenting viable options in periodic ad
buying meetings.
Other
Functions:

Performs
other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION
Received: Work is performed under general supervision from immediate supervisor.
Provided: Occasionally responsible for assigning activities to other employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's
degree.
Experience: Three
of experience in communication or marketing.
Knowledge, skills and abilities: Excellent
communication skills. Ability
to design Web pages. Ability to handle multiple projects while working in a team
environment.
WORKING
CONDITIONS
Work is performed in an office
environment. Uses
personal computer and other standard office equipment.
