1.

Develop and supervise staff by defining and prioritizing goals; providing guidance and work direction; promoting personal and professional development; and providing staff training.

2.

Assist in the management of policy development and technology planning.

3.

Approve and recommend technology equipment and software to support U. T. System Administration.

4.

Develop recommendations for financial planning and cost savings efforts underway.

5.

Improve customer service and increase information delivery by acting as a liaison between U. T. System Administration and the component institutions on technology-related issues.

6.

Prepare and maintain special internal and external reports as requested by the Director, state agencies, institutions, and component personnel.
