Develop and supervise staff by defining and prioritizing goals; providing guidance and work direction; promoting personal and professional development; and providing staff training. |

Assist in the management of policy development and technology planning. |

Approve and recommend technology equipment and software to support U. T. System Administration. |

Develop recommendations for financial planning and cost savings efforts underway. |
5. |
Improve customer service and increase information delivery by acting as a liaison between U. T. System Administration and the component institutions on technology-related issues. |

Prepare and maintain special internal and external reports as requested by the Director, state agencies, institutions, and component personnel. |
