Oversee and assist in the completion of reports, including annual, quarterly, and monthly financial reports. |

Interpret and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and University policies. |

Determine impact of policy statements on the University and recommend distribution of policy statements to component institutions. |

Oversee and assist in the preparation of special reports required by governmental agencies, including tax returns. |

Supervise accounting personnel in the performance of general accounting duties. |

Assign duties, oversee work progress and initiate accounting action necessary to carry out administrative instructions. |

Analyze work load and determine work priority. |

Oversee and conduct training regarding basic fund accounting and annual report preparation. |

Responsible for the design, execution, and effectiveness of a system of internal controls which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, financial information is reliable, and applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures are followed. |
