SUMMARY
Purpose: To
perform routine accounting, auditing, and analytical assignments involving the verification
of compliance with lease agreements and contracts; to enhance revenues of University
Lands.
DUTIES
Essential Functions:
· Performs desk, company and field audits to monitor compliance with oil and gas leases.
· Reconciles ledgers to verify that royalties have been remitted and discrepancies addressed.
· Identifies and communicates potential conflicts.
Other
Functions:
· May provide customer assistance as knowledge and ability advance.
· Other duties as assigned.

Received: Work is performed under general supervision of supervisor with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
Experience: No
experience is required.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Basic
knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures affecting
the maintenance of accounting records and automated accounting systems.

Skill
and ability to work accurately with numerical detail and to analyze and
interpret accounting data.

Ability
to communicate clearly and professionally.

CONDITIONS
Work is performed in an office
setting. Some outdoor activity and
travel is required.

Employee Services.
