Job Purpose To provide network administration, monitoring, and second level user support.
Education and experience required including training, registration, and licensure. Bachelor’s degree with no experience or High School graduation or GED equivalent with four years of experience.

1.

Create, remove network accounts, change network rights and group management, and install network printers and queue management.

2.

Perform daily monitoring checklist to determine network usage, disk space availability, and server error logs.

3.

Work with other network team members on installation, maintenance, and testing.

4.

Run monthly network reports as identified by management.

5.

Monitor industry sites and publications for needed patches, releases, viruses, and potential problem identification.

6.

Act as second level support for OIR support staff.

7.

Primary support for end-user network problems escalated to network team.
