SUMMARY
Purpose: To provide administrative and
paraprofessional legal support to attorneys.
DUTIES
Essential
Functions:
· Prepares and drafts legal documents for filing with appropriate entities and necessary correspondence.
· Performs administrative duties including basic research, filing, mailings, retrieving credit reports, telephone communication.
· Conducts legal research for particular issues as assigned by attorneys using periodicals, law library, public records, and offices.
· Maintains and updates the computer database.
· Prepares closing binders.

SUPERVISION
Received: Work is performed under direct supervision from immediate supervisor.
Provided: Not required to supervise others.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High
school diploma or GED. Legal assistant or
paralegal certification.
Experience: A minimum three years legal administrative
experience.
Knowledge, skills and abilities: To be
determined.
WORKING
CONDITIONS
Work is performed in an office environment. Uses a personal computer and other standard
office equipment. May require occasional
extended hours or weekend work.
