The Chancellor's Award Program is established to recognize UT System Administration employees who best exemplify the organization's vision, values, and humanitarian efforts. Three distinct award categories will recognize UT System Administration employees: Pursuing The Vision AwardIn pursuing it's mission of leading and serving institutions to create and sustain excellence in educational opportunities, research, and health care, UT System Administration employees share a common vision. That vision is to achieve a national leadership standing among academic and health care institutions. Individual as well as collaborative team efforts contribute to the achievement of UT System Administration's mission and the pursuit of our vision. The recipients of the "Pursuing The Vision Award" may include individual employees as well as teams of employees who best demonstrate and exemplify successful endeavors in achieving our vision. Living By The Values Award Successful organizations embrace and promote key values, which individually and collectively support their mission. In supporting UT System Administration's broad mission, key values such as excellence, innovation, integrity, focusing on results, accountability, service, inclusion, collaboration, and resource stewardship are of utmost importance. These values should be practiced at both the individual and team levels. With this in mind, "Living By The Values Award" recipients may include both individuals and collaborative teams of employees who best incorporate these values in their work. Dub Riter Humanitarian Award The late UT System Regent, Dub Riter, was best known for his lifelong devotion to improving the lives of those who are less fortunate. Through numerous foundations, civic initiatives, and community service programs, Regent Riter distinguished himself and the UT System by placing value on the need to serve others. To express our deep appreciation of Regent Riter, the "Dub Riter Humanitarian Award" was created to honor the memory of Regent Riter as well as to distinguish those employees who best exemplify his spirit of serving others. Only one individual and/or one group recipient will be presented with this prestigious award each year. Eligibility and Nomination ProcessUT System Administration employees from the Associate Vice Chancellor level and below are eligible to receive the "Pursuing The Vision Award" and the "Living By The Values Award."
