Sick Leave |
Full-Time Employees Full-time employees will earn sick leave beginning on the first day of state employment and on the first calendar day of each succeeding month of state employment. Sick leave time is accrued at the rate of eight hours for each month or fraction of a month of service. |
Part-Time Employees Employees appointed to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (but less than full-time) for at least four and 1/2 months, are eligible for sick leave. Sick leave is earned in proportion to the percentage of time appointed to work. |
