Emergency Procedures

 

Fire Alarm

If a fire alarm rings, immediately evacuate and pull the pull station as you exit. DO NOT call 911. The pull station will immediately alarm the entire building and notify emergency responders.

 

Medical Emergency

First Aid kits and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are located at all University of Texas System guard stations.

  • Contact the Office of the Director of Police at 512.499.4691

 

Other Emergencies

Department Safety Liaisons (DSL) are trained to assist The Office of Risk Management (ORM), The Office of the Director of Police (ODOP) and Facilities Management in responding to a variety of emergencies. For further assistance please contact your department DSL, ODOP, ORM or Facilities Management.
