Research Continuity refers to the capability to maintain research during disruptive events, or the capability to quickly resume research after such an event.
Strategies to Enhance This Capability Include:
Use of biostorage to backup samples of specimens.
- Biostorage facilities are available as a commercial service. These facilities can also be offered as a shared service amount institutions of the same system or consortium of institutions.
- Mutual Aid plans with other institutions to temporarily house research projects for the duration of the event
