The PLANet web application supports The University of Texas System Professional Medical Liability (PLI) Benefit Plan. The PLI Plan currently insures physicians, dentists, residents, and medical students at The University of Texas System (the UT System) Institutions.
The Office of Risk Management (ORM) develops and maintains the PLANet web application which is used by both the UT System Institution and System Administration users. PLANet consists of several subsystems which handle PLI Plan Enrollment, Premium Billing, Risk Education, Reporting, and associated administrative functions.
Access to PLANet is granted via a request from an Institution PLI representative or by contacting Meredith Mitchell-Williams in the Risk Accounting section of ORM.
