Selecting and Working with Vendors
If you decide to purchase a software application or service, you must contact OTIS so that we can work with your vendor on technical specifications and requirements. This will prevent you from purchasing an application that does not work in our environment or does not meet our standards. The OTIS Director reviews all technology contracts for use within System Administration.

Developing New Applications. Purchasing software that already exists is often the best choice, but there are cases where a custom built application is the appropriate solution. OTIS developers can design and build custom solutions and database applications to meet your needs. However, because we have limited resources, we are sometimes booked several months in advance and may not be able to meet every request. We accept projects on a first-come, first-served basis and apply basic project management principals to schedule projects and deliver them on time.
