Your UT Austin EID is your unique identifier and was created when you were enrolled by the University or became an employee. All employees are required to have a High Assurance EID. Your High assurance EID is requred to log into secure online services (like the Timesheet Application).
To get a High Assurance EID you must present identification (drivers license or official ID card) to an EID administrator. Several OTIS support staff, located at System Administration on CTJ second floor, have this designation.
